About SCP

Security Clearance Portal of Ministry of Home Affairs is a Centralized web application developed to digitize and streamline the applications of security clearances related to Foreign nationals handled by the Foreigners Division, MHA (viz. clearance for visiting protected areas/restricted areas/ Indian Territorial waters, for shooting of documentary/ films etc.). The Portal will provide various benefits including reduction of processing time, hassle free process, paperless operation and creation of data base.


FAQ's

Security Clearance Portal (SCP) of Ministry of Home Affairs is a Centralized web application developed to digitize and streamline the applications of security clearances related to Foreign nationals handled by the Foreigners Division, MHA (viz. clearance for visiting protected areas/restricted areas/ Indian Territorial waters, for shooting of documentary/ films etc.).

The Ministries/ Departments of the Government which requires security clearance for Foreign nationals from Foreigners Division, MHA,can only apply for clearance on the SCP.

No. Only the user Ministry/ department concerned can apply for security clearance on the SCP.

No. SCP is developed for dealing with security clearances handled by Foreigners Division, MHA only. Other MHA clearances are handled by the Divisions concerned.

The user Ministry/ department shall approach the Foreigners Division, MHA for obtaining login credentials for the SCP.
